“Bio” can be so environmentally friendly thanks to the features of its main body, fitted with a progressive cartridge, a very significant detail in the collection. The operating mechanism entirely revolves around the tap's body, in which the tap opening and temperature adjustment functions blend into the base’s profile. The whole system relies on the simple rotation of the upper part of the cartridge, which allows to perform both operations. The 90° rotation of the knob controls the water flow. Between 30° and 90° the flow is constant, while the water temperature increases, from cold to hot. Full-flow mixed water is supplied when the knob is at approximately 60°. This special water flow control system ensures considerable gas and electricity savings, as the boiler does not switch on every time the tap is opened - as would be the case with a traditional mixer -, guaranteeing savings up to 70%. The presence of the special aerator results in a laminar water jet that is extremely soft to the touch. An additional integrated device maintains the flow rate constant even in case of network pressure changes.
