"“Why work in the field of furniture making and interior design. It might be
because of the sculpting of an everyday object and the refining of it through
techniques and processings that put him in touch with a wide spectrum of
people. Probably it is simply our reflecting ourselves in the objects we use
every day… the chair we have sat on for many years… a spoon, a fork, a
faucet! Maybe it’s the fact that the industrial process surrounds the object
with a nice, banal and insignificant aura. It is maybe the naive desire to
improve everything we are surrounded by. Maybe it’s a never ending child
game made with wood and fabrics.”
