Today, the term "research" embodies the notion of awareness: environmental awareness, ethical awareness, sustainability awareness. FIMA Carlo Frattini's production cycle implements innovative processes that are able to eliminate noxious particles and employs raw materials that are compliant with the most stringent requirements, such as the ones prescribed by the Departments of Health of the USA and Canada. In an effort to achieve the least environmental impact even at the production stage, FIMA Carlo Frattini uses recycled or recyclable materials. In terms of products instead, solutions have been designed that are able to reduce water and energy consumption through fl ow-rate and temperature controls.
NEW PHOTOVOLTAIC PLANT
At FIMA, a strong focus on production technologies goes hand in hand with important investments for the installation of a fi rst 500 kW photovoltaic plant and a subsequent one, which will allow the Company to convert solar energy into electricity, thus producing its own power in full compliance with the applicable laws - a project which provides tangible evidence of the Company's respect for the environment.
